Carruthers Wines β Winery Inventory Β· One crush event, the wines it produced, and the fruit that went into them
A crush event turns fruit in bins into wine in a vessel. Record the wines
you made, then say which lot each one came from and how many tons of it. A wine may draw on several lots and
a lot may be split across several wines β add a line for each movement.
Tonnage is checked against what is actually left in each lot at the moment you submit, so a lot that has
already been crushed cannot be crushed twice.

Defaults to today β change if back-dating. Cannot be in the future.

Add to the Wine List. This adds the wine first and then selects it above β
the crush is recorded against a wine that already exists, never against one invented on the way past.
The Wine List's own guards decide what is accepted.
A rose and its still wine are different wines, not two releases.
A release keeps its wine's name and Id, and takes the next release number.
The Wine List keys on name and winery designation, so a rose may share a varietal name.
Decides which Wine Id range the wine is allocated from. It cannot be changed afterwards.
Only needed when name and vintage alone cannot tell this release from another.
